OLES JSC PROVIDES FOOT LIFTING SYSTEM AND 4-POINT ANCHOR WINCH SYSTEM FOR SALAN SPECIALIZED IN SERVING OFFSHORE WIND POWER TOWER INSTALLATION UNDER THE INVESTOR OF MARINE ENERGY CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION JOINT STOCK COMPANY.
Up to now, many countries have set goals for developing offshore wind power from 2020 to 2030. For example, China from 9 GW to 50 GW, India from 5 GW to 30 GW, South Korea from 0.145 GW to 12 GW, Japan from 0.62 MW to 10 GW. Thus, the prospect of developing offshore wind power until 2030 belongs to countries in the Asian region, including Vietnam.
According to some studies, Vietnam has great potential for wind power in general and offshore wind power in particular. For example, according to research by the World Bank (WB), Vietnam's offshore wind power has a technical potential of about 475 GW or according to a report by the Danish Energy Agency, this number is about 162 GW.
Calculations by the World Bank Group also show that if Vietnam develops offshore wind power with a total capacity of 10 GW in 2030, 25 GW in 2035, 40 GW in 2040 and 70 GW in 2050 - Corresponding to the electricity supply ratio of 5%, 12%, 17% and 27%, Vietnam can achieve some cumulative results by 2035, adding 50 billion USD to the economy (including exports), creating 700,000 new jobs a year, attracting 500 million USD of investment capital, avoiding the emission of more than 217 million tons of CO2, a localization rate of 60% and a very important factor: levelized cost of electricity (LCOE). ) is 83 USD/mWh in 2030 and 62 USD/mWh in 2035, when 203 TWh is produced.
However, the World Bank group also believes that in order to attract the attention of investors, financial institutions and manufacturers around the world to develop Vietnam's offshore wind power, the scale of the market must be met. The target market must be large enough, with a clear roadmap and appropriate policies.
Realizing the huge potential of offshore wind power, Offshore Lifting Equipment Joint Stock Company (OLES JSC) has cooperated with Marine Energy Construction Joint Stock Company to invest in a specialized salan system to serve the project. Installing power poles and wind turbine blades, the most difficult item in offshore wind power project construction packages.
To install tower towers with a mass of 100 tons each, the main turbine with a mass of 120 tons with a height of 140 meters above sea level requires the salan to be installed with a specialized crane system of 1200 tons. Installing and safely operating a 1200 ton crane system on shore is difficult, but installing it on a salan and working at sea in turbulent conditions is even more difficult. With the requirement that the salan must be fixed and not move during the installation process, while the construction period is long and the tides rise and fall, the salan is required to have a specialized equipment system.
Meeting the requirements of the investor, Offshore Lifting Equipment Joint Stock Company (OLES JSC) has calculated, designed and provided a lifting system with 4 positioning poles for the salan, also known as a synchronous salan leg lifting system. 4-point anchor winch system with the following technical specifications:
Salan leg lifting system:
Lifting capacity: 100 tons per pillar, number of 4 pillars
Working stroke: 40 meters
Control type: Automatic by PLC and manual control
Includes load control system, controlling pressure on each salan leg
Synchronous hydraulic power unit, specialized for the marine environment. Includes emergency backup system.
4-point anchor winch system:
Hydraulic cable winch, safe working load: 20 tons
Speed: 15-20 meters/minute
Cable capacity on drum: 450-600 meters of D32-38mm cable
Anchor: Specialized high grip anchor (Delta)
Includes 3-way diverter pulley system on the side
Synchronous hydraulic power unit, specialized for the marine environment. Includes emergency backup system.
Load notification system, synchronous drop cable length
Displays load, cable length, integrated control system to the control room.
After a 4-month construction period, Offshore Lifting Equipment Joint Stock Company (OLES JSC) has completed and handed over and put into use the equipment on the OEI-TC 01 cable salan
